Fire Pit Installation
To date at at Jeff Hodges Landscape Contractor, we’ve created some very special gathering spaces with our fire pits which are being enjoyed by property owners in West Hartford, Avon, Farmington, Simsbury, Granby, Canton, Glastonbury and other CT areas. We have a unique design feature in our fire pits that allows air to enter in so that the smoke rises up and doesn’t blow in your face. Because of this design feature our fire pits are easy to clean and wash out. Our fire pit construction starts 3 ft below the surface to allow for this feature and also allowing us to start building on a solid base that will make your fire pit last for years to come.
To date, our fire pits have been made with PA fieldstone with bluestone sitting caps. Because of these materials, your fire pit will blend well with our bluestone patios and natural stone patios and also look well in a surrounding of plants.
