Helping Others – Donate

Dear Reader,

I recently visited a dear friend of mine, Pastor Richard Barry. Pastor Barry runs a homeless shelter in Skowhegan, Maine for families in need. His ministry, Shelters by Jesus, helps people get their lives back on track by offering them food, shelter, medical attention and clothing.

Since the onset of COVID-19 early last Spring, Pastor Barry’s food pantry has been serving over 3000 families from three countries. All food donations have been generously supplied by location supermarkets. The real need now is for clothing for all ages (babies, children, adults and seniors) as well as clothing, household items, furniture, bicycles, kids toys, etc.

I’m sending this note in hopes that you can help in any way. If you have clothing, jackets, shoes, towels, or blankets that you’d like to donate, please give me a call at 860-986-4282. I will be happy to stop by and pick them up from you as together we support the work this wonderful ministry is doing to help those in need.

You can learn more about Pastor Barry and his. ministry by visiting his website: SheltersbyJesus.com.

Thank you for your time and donations, Jeff.
